How to take care of your skin after shaving?
You can avoid a world of discomfort if you shave it right.
And a universe of problems if you after-shave it correctly.
1. Rinse with cold water
It’s no hard science but when your skin gets hot, the pores tend to swell. This can lead to clogging and an acne-like reaction. So always wash your face with a luke-warm or cold water after shaving.
2. After-shave is not optional
There’s a reason why After-shave was invented. A good after-shave soothes the chafed skin, prevents infections that may occur due to minor nicks or cuts. Got after-shave wipes? Even better. We recommend you try Dr Barber’s After Shave wipes. They contain chamomile and Vitamin – E that moisturize your skin after shaving.
3. Use ice
Sometimes, your face despite all precautions looks like a golf-ball. In this case, apply ice that makes your skin feel cooler and relaxed.
4. Dry skin? Use facial cream
For those with dry skin, applying a mild facial cream would completely moisturize your skin.
5. Pimple prone? Use pimple cream
It’s okay to apply a pimple cream after your shave if you have acne or pimples on your face. Alternatively, you can also apply coconut oil.
6. Going out after shave? Apply sunblock
If you are heading to office or anywhere else after shaving, don’t forget the sunblock.
7. Got nicks and cuts? Use cucumber
The most natural way to soothe nicks and cuts is to apply cucumber after shaving.
